Afternoon Ian. I have had 2.5 hrs sleep and feel like crap, but that is to be it, it seems. Thank goodness I do not have to go back to work tonight and can go to bed for real & proper sleep.

There should be a ban against getting sick...I didn't have time to do one stitch of knitting nor read one word of my book
Hi Pat. Ya worth more money girl. It's rather self centred when patients demand attention from nurses, don't you think?

As no doubt you are aware, that's the most popular time for people to kark it, could that be the reason for the lull?

That's me, I've been thumped awake, and told to breath in no uncertain terms.

    been there....

even got a smack in the face at nurse change once...

ID been in an accident and my helmet had been shattered so I was in hospital for 48 hour obs. I was woggy and all I wanted to do was sleep, I got into the rythm of rolling over and sticking my arm out from under the sheets for them to do pulse and blood pressure.

They changed nurses and the new nurse was shorter and stood a bit further down the bed than the old nurse I did the arm out trick and got a face full of hand for my efforts. Once the initial shock of waking up settled I was told that its impolite to grasp at a nurses boobs.

Aren't you lucky it wasn't a male nurse.
