    in the sixties the Ford H cab tractor units could be ordered with a petrol engine,the one Corgi used for the twin boom wrecker,car transporter and box van remember?

    no me owd,US market COE built from 1961/73,have a look on Google quite a bit of info.,check out the belt drive tandem axle!

    Had a quick squiz, found jack. But I imagine it was the ubiquious(sp) cab over in North America during that era.

    I've only ever seen one belt drive bogie, the belts ran between the duals from the driven to a lazy axle. I think it was a Perkins powered Commer, back in the mid 70's.
