A mate of mine is a copper,he pulled up down from a dealers house waiting for him to come home so they could bust him and so he wouldn't stand out he was in a nissan skyline that had been confiscated from a hoon and within minutes of pulling up it cought fire and burned to the ground. Pat
I got done by one in a cessna on the hume back in the late 80's... pretty good disguise... I didn't see at thing until it was too late
Have seen them in ford and holden utes along the M1,and just last week saw one in a vw golf on backroads of beenleigh
I was having dinner in town one night and a bunch of youngsters piled out of this old holden station wagon. They then proceeded to book someone. There were two blokes and two young girls. All were NOT dressed like cops. :o
In Toowoomba you see people getting pulled over by a Black Chrysler 300C, Blue/Silver older Commodore wagon, older style blue SS ute and a couple of others but these are the ones that catch you out as they realy look like all the other cars around town, untill lights and sirens come on.
Watched the 300C drive up and down main street one night and follow this poor guy in his Hi Lux, thought it was one of the sivy ones showing off untill lights came on :eek:and he pulled the Hi Lux over, did not see what he did wrong.
Well it depends on what happened. How was the bloke in the SS 'tempted' to race...? Street races are usually spur of the moment things - the old 'famous last words of....Watch this'.
And if he was pulled over, for what? We don't know that part of the story.
As for entrapment - does the bloke in the SS have a choice to toddle off down the road or be a d1ckhead?? I guess he chose the latter.
