Lifetime of a MUD TYRE

Just when they are getting usefull as a sand tyre Toombie:D:D:D
Nothing like a 3/4 worn out Muddie in mud.At least there is a greatly reduced chance of damaging fragile axles!!!
Good time to sell them Mike,they are percieved to be of value and look the goods.

It really does depend on where and how you drive and how loaded the vehicle is too.

I'm damned if I've ever gotten more than 50,000km, maybe 55,000km at a nudge out of BFG MT KM's, and they were nearly illegal, not just cactus for off road work.

ive just done about 60k on my 33 maxxis bighorns over 2 years and am just getting the new ones fitted today. and at $266 a tyre fitted im pretty happy with them.

Been using BFG Muddies on three consecutive Land Rovers for around 15 years .
I ditch them around 60,000klms which is normally around 60% wear .
I think that after 60% they lose their appeal as a mud terrain tyre ,
The old ones are great for spares and trailer tyres .

Mine must be about the same as yours.

Mine are at around 60 % they still go well in the mud

I may be selling mine soon, to fit 33's when I can find the money :(
