Cheers, will have a look tonight when I get home from work. Peter Haylock reckons he could get me one from the UK ... but would cost around $600.00.

that price is amazing considering you can get a water pump for a 202 for $70 from supercrap auto

surely there are enough still around to warrant SOMEONE still making them as a spare part

Are you serious? $70? I can't understand why I can't get one period. Wouldn't have thought it would be that hard. And when you think of all the stuff the ARMY just throws in the skips .... enough to make you cry.

$250.00 is the cheapest quote I've got. I initially thought that was a bit pricey, but compared to a new one, I suppose it's bearable... well, it'll have to be anyway.

The Blanchard web site has a repair kit for the 6 cyl available on it's web site:

    https://secure.pablanchard.co.uk/pro...roductID=38165

45GBP ($90) + postage, no VAT as it's being posted outside of the EU.

    G'day Panda

How's the water pump saga going ?? looks like the P.A. Blanchard repair kit would be the way to go, have you got yours off yet, as it could be the Impellor that is crook, also check if the UK repair kit has the impellor in it, as some repair kits are only bearing and seal kits.

    Postage ex-UK will suprise you

    cheers

my money says that since she's reading the mechanicing books she should have a crack at rebuilding it herself.

shes also going to learn how to use the easy outs that way.
