    How old are the tyres on your Land Rover? (POLL)

    As the title says: How old are the tyres on your Land Rover?

    If you have more than 1 Landie - them pick the landie with the oldest tyres (as long as it is driven on-road). If you have more than one set of tyres, pick the oldest set you drive on-road with.

    Tyres on the Disco are 3 years old. I know they will outlast the "5 year" theory and I'll be using them to the last. For me it's all about minimum cents per km, maximum efficiency.

    Soon as mine reach 5 years, no matter the wear, they are gone (unless they wear out sooner). Nearly had a major pile up because a set of tyres had gone hard, even though they had lots of tread life left. I value my life and the lives of my family more than the cost a set of tyres.

    big red rubber is about 2 years old. I get about 4 years out of a set.

    fozzys rubber is about 7 but I drive to the limitation of the tyres (like I have a choice with a 2.25 diesel)

    Which tyres, which Landrover?

    On the 110 they vary from about six months to about three years, on the 2a they are around four years except for the extra spare which is about six.

    Do not seem to be provision to put this information in the poll so I haven't tried.
