And my fav, i searched long and hard and had many missed opportunities or people bailed on sales but i finally got the SWB 2A 2.25 Diesel i wanted and in the right colour as well.. not that you can tell anymore :p

Plan is to get the SWB back on the road as cheap as possible and just use it as a work truck and toy for the scrub. And for random drives on Barmy summer nights with the top off :).

Yeap iv seen it there many times! always thought it was a neat unit! Tell him to keep an eye out next year (if he still goes) for a D1 with Grover written on the windscreen.

After watching "A 4x4 Is Born" it makes me wish i had a shed like his! we have the shed... plenty of room in there, if all the crud was removed and some essential tools were added ;)

If you get a chance, have a look under the bonnet. It's the cleanest 2.25 engine bay i've seen

Here is a few pics of my SIII 2.25D SWB. Got to love the mix of brush/spray painting by the previous owner! I've since put a set of original rims on the beast.
