    RIP MJ

I thought he was a raving lunatic personally. Good performer but definitely deranged and will earn more now than if he was still alive.
Each to his own on this as with other things though.

Fair enough and each to their own.

My own is that he was very talented but a total crack pot and waste of space.
Some poor bloke gets killed by a stray bullet here in Sydney and it's relegated to the back pages because of Jackson.

Not entirely sure where people priority's lie anymore...

I dont understand why people have to post their negative views, if you arent interested in the post then keep out of it and your comments to yourself. Yes he was a train wreck but you cant take away from the fact that he was an extremely talented performer despite all he downfalls (and he had more than his share). I wouldnt by any stretch of the imagination call myself a huge fan but i did appreciate his singing and dancing ability and his showmanship.

I dont think the views are intended as negative, just different. It would be a strange old place if only the people with the same opinions posted them. I am not a MJ fan at all and have a very similar outlook on him as Rayngie, specifically the priority bit. I do however, think he was a great entertainer, just not my style.

I'm all for different views but if it/ ( he in this case )doesnt interest you i dont understand the need to come and post negative comments just for the sake of it, hell i would spend all day on here bagging freelanders if that was the case. Just a bit of common sense and courtesy to others.

I have no interest in MJ to the point of not buying a CD, concert ticket or a tee shirt, but I (and others) have an opinion about the recent events. As stated earlier, I don't consider my thoughts or comments to be negative, just not the same as others and most certainly not discourteous to anyone, yourself included.
Don't get me wrong, I do not begrudge his achievments or his lifestyle and I do not wish the passing of anyone, particularly at such an early (relatively speaking) age. MJ and I were born within a month of each other, so I definately have an opinion about 50 year old males dying of cardiac related problems.
I think we will just have to agree to disagree on the polarity of my opinion.
