Last time I was down that way there was a Puma in Strahn as well, white from memory

I'll be down in Hobart on Saturday so might catcha there

No this was near Smithton and the guy was gathering firewood (I think). Might have been his first vehicle too.

What a night last night was on the NW coast. Thunder, heavy rains and cyclonic winds. We woke to a lovely blue sky though with a light but cold breeze. Now 12 hours later the weather's turned again. Mind you we are staying at Arthur River in a B&B about 50m from the west cost shore line.

Saw a very neat and original S1 being used as a work vehicle and a SIII as well today. There was also a Td5 Defender in Stanley.

Oh, almost forgot, nearly lost the driver's side, side step. The nyloc's had worked themselves very loose. All tightened and OK now. Strange as they were tight when I left Melbourne and the roads here are very good - even the dirt ones so far!

Well we are in Strahan tonight. Going on the Railway and the Cruise over the coming days. Also saw a white Puma parked down the road on the way in to town. Only the second one we've seen on the road in 5 weeks!

What else would you drive on the old Argent Railway but an Argent Defender!!

This is the Argent Tramway, Spray Tunnel at Zeehan, 2.20m wide and 3.00m high on the sign. Last time I drove through this was in a much smaller Subaru L series.

Still in Strahan, did the river cruise today. Really good, despite the hale showers. Off to 'obart town tomorrow.

So far I have 28GB or 2129 pictures to sort through which I am doing as we go.
