“Kiss of Life”, 1968 Pulitzer Prize
A utility worker, J.D. Thompson, is suspended on a utility pole and giving mouth to mouth resuscitation to a fellow lineman, Randall G. Champion, who was unconscious and hanging upside down after contacting a high voltage line.
Champion survived and lived until 2002, when he died of heart failure at the age of 64. Thompson is still living.
The military men look like they have been added to the photo afterwards in that last one? Cool photo though, even if it is for all the wrong reasons.
*edit: ok, it's now 4th to last - it was last when I started typing!
