Is there one of these still at Darling Harbour???
Thanks chief, I'm not sure how to run a translator, but just flicking through some of the threads, wow.
I don't get it why they have all this equipment just sitting around. I don't know how accessible these sites would be, but one of them has what looks like live ammo, and the guns are massive :o
If they cleaned up these sites, the scrap value alone would be huge.

I'm not sure it is a variety of sites? Going by the external picture it's massive. Compared to some of the NASA's shuttle pictures over the years it's not that dissimilar - except NASA hasn't walked away (completely) - so it stands to reason that the whole lot is housed within that one big complex
LOL you can not run Russian though a translator, you will always get the wrong idea LOL
in 1992 Russia was broke so shut every thing down. in the middle of town there were 1/2 build buildings, i live next to a 2 story kindergarten which was never finished.
about 2005 things started to change, the kindergarten was purchased from the local government, and converted to apartments. etc
the soviet space program the same as the Russian automotive program was scatted though out the former CCCP. for example motors for Karmas trucks ( the 4x4 Paris Dakar ones) were built in Yugoslav, the gearboxes close to Yakenburg ( of Dr Zivargo fame) most of CCCP tiers were made in what is now Latvia etc. two reasons for that. put the factory's where they needed population. scatter the infurstuctor for defensive reasons ( USA B52s thinking) and security IE a spy could never get the complete picture.
i would say that none of these buildings are in this state any-more. the Russian space program is running circles around the USA
Brought back some memory for me even tho tis Yankee
