Yep, much more. A good, well made transformer can be in the high 90's % efficient., but induction charging systems using 2 coils of wire separated by thin layers of plastic are 60 to 70% at best, some cheap arse ones less than that, but they do work, and make life easy for the consumer. Most will never know, ask or care how much more power is required to make it work.
We used to do this in our younger years. A bit smaller scale though.
A mouthful of kerosene, a burning stick from the camp fire and you would then spray a fine mist from the mouth and it would flame.
Don't ask me were it got its name, but we called it a "Bake Off"
Not a very nice after taste either.
We used to do it with a can of fly spray. Didn't have to put it in your mouth then.
Back in the day I use to be a street performer and this was one of my tricks. There are a few different kinds of fuels that you can use. Having a drink of milk first can help with the taste of the fuel. Or buying the more expensive professional fuels help. They have nearly no taste, burn better and do not smoke.
As fun as it was. I gave up after a mate had a very bad accident during a performance. The wind changed and all the flames went back down his throat. I still play with fire but none of us breath it any more.
