The tiles don't lay flat on the first pass.
Once the last tile falls, it can fall flat, meaning that the last mm or so of the arc that the top corner moves, allows the previous tile to fall falt, causing the wave of tiles to flow 'in reverse'.
The real thing is, who would spend hours lining up all the tiles with mm precision when it could be done just as quickly the old fashioned way. Bricky must be billing by the hour :cool:

A pre-made spacer/template would allow them all to be placed very rapidly. [emoji6]

And to think all those years I thought I had to fly from East to West when coming home to Perth from Melbourne.
Oh well I guess my sense of Geography really needs adjusting
