    However overlooking the bottom of the car was a lost opportunity as it turned out.



    Mark Webber in the Mercedes CLR (Le Mans 1999), almost ended his career as various fingers were pointed at his driving putting the car into an unstable condition. Right up until Peter Dumbreck went up and over the fence during the race even with additional downforce added.
