The tree that was hit was smoking/steaming and the top branch was lopped off. After the storm passed, I went to have a closer look at the tree. You could see a clear path down the trunk from the point of impact to the base of the tree where the lightining stripped the bark off. All around the tree, large boulders that were embedded in the ground had a layer of rock cracked off, like an onion.
wow I’m loving this storm, a bit like Vladivostok in spring.
i got minime's kite out because its plastic, my one got wet and is a bit heavy. Got it on my fishing rod so i have about 60 meters of line out.
Now question. I threaded a Leggy key on the line so how do I stop the leggy Key sliding against the rod with out actually tying it to the line?
