All the best David, Hope your daughter gets well soon.
Regards,
Ashley
Jeez, David, I am sorry to hear that. It's simply not fair when young people get illnesses like this. I hope she wins over it.

About 9 years ago I had one of those Granuloma ( not usually malignant) things about the size of a golf ball in my brain.
It had developed around my nerve for the hearing in my left ear etc and was in a touchy spot in the rear part of the brain close to the stem.
I had the head aches and a few other problems because of it.
If it is encapsulated she should do OK.
I ended up losing my hearing in my left ear and have bad permanet tinitus.
Life goes on

David that is really terrible mate. I really hope it all works out and she is OK.
I propose we stop this thread when it gets close to the magic number and contact Spud so he can (appropriately) make the special post.
Spud,
If there is anything at all we can do to help give us a yell. I truely hope all goes well and things abate very soon for your daughter.
That's terrible news. Hope all goes well. Looked it up on Wikipedia, seems like it is likely to be benign. Hope so. All the best...
Thats awefull mate. Hope all goes ok.
ALL THE BEST!
Steve
Thanks for all the kind words. We are pretty sick of waiting and not knowing for sure if it is going to be all OK or if she is up for an OP or whatever.
Life is pretty random. No reason that she got it (it is quite rare actually).
I might get motivated later tonight and post up a few pics here to keep things moving along. See how we go!
