This is a S2 from around my way in Eltham. It belonged to a local Landscape designer/luminary , Gordon Ford.
The bullbar was fashioned by a local sculptor for Gordon.
The cover was put on to preserve the old girl for posterity
I went to take some pics and chat with Gordon's daughter on Saturday.
She told of many great stories of the family piling inside and on the roof and bonnet to head down to the Yarra for a swim![]()
Command recon?

Utah man Joseph Kelley was pictured shopping with a rifle on his back (Picture: Splashnews)
Photos of a man casually shopping at a US department store with an AK 14 rifle on his back and a Glock 19C on his hip.
The pictures were taken by shocked customer Cindy Yorgason, who was in line at the JC Penney store in Riverdale, Utah, when she looked up to see a shopper with ‘a large gun’.
He also had extra ammunition clips and a sidearm in a holster on his right hip.
The JC Penney shopper, 22-year-old Joseph Kelley, told the Salt Lake Tribune that he carries weapons to protect children and other people from ‘criminals, cartels, drug lords”‘ and other ‘evil men’.
Mr Kelley described himself as a firm believer in Second Amendment rights and said he chose to bring the guns into the store to show they are not dangerous in the hands of law-abiding citizens.
