    Coming to Australia

Well we have finally managed to sell the house . So, we intend tyo come over to OZ in September or October of this year. We plan on moving to the Brisbane area. At the moment we have 2 90's (1997 and 1987). The 1987 is retro fitted with a 300Tdi engine. Is it worth me bringing them both over (given the cost involved)? It would cost about $5000 to import the vehicle (including shipping etc).
Anyone got any contacts in the rental market ? We intend to rent for at least 6 months before buying a place.

    TIA

    Ivan

Sorry I should have been a bit clearer. I will definitely be bringing the 1997 one over. Just wondered if it would be worth me bringing the older one over as well.

    Look on domain.com.au for housing.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

If you need a place to store that 2nd 90 - I can offer you my carport in exchange for the keys.

Good move, mate - you'll really "enjoy" your first Qld summer.

I think that should read WET......bring your umbrella (and your 90's )

You'll love it in Queensland; Don't forget to visit Australia when you get settled.

Bloody Mexicans! The real problem with the Caboolture area is that some of the inhabitants lack a sense of humor

PS - Ivan, we Queenslanders call "immigrants" from the southern states "Mexicans" - but we all love each other really. (except at origin time)
