Plan was to head off on the 20th, now have to waited for another Hf radio to turn up form Brisbane and also sort out one of my airbags (load assist bag). May end up putting a set of new 2" lift coils in the back.
If any one wanted to catch up, maybe if some one nominated a pub or something for friday night we could catch up for an ale.
    cheers

Of course it is cold there. Perth has a cold wet winter. It is in the south of the continent and in the path of the ocean wnds. Not quite like Melbourne and Adelaide, but along those lines.

I thought it got northern hemisphere cold on tassie ??
Heading up north a bit, might thaw you out somewhat though mate, how much did it cost you on the ferry ?
And what is the drama with your radio ? is it a new bit of kit that has failed or is it a warranty job ? regards andy

Not sure what is wrong with the radio, got a power surge and wont transmit. Talked to a guy today and he reckons it wont be much to fix so I have passed it on to my future son inlaw. Picked up a coden 9232 for a really good price.

Heading north in the morning with the future son inlaw (field service tech) to do a few jobs, sad fact is its not far enough to be any warmer. Hasnt been to bad when the sun comes out though, nearly up to Tassie standards
    cheers
