    Hows about this for service

I take my 56grand defender backwards and forwards to the dealership for warranty work and problems they cant fix.......and have discussions on why we have to pay for courtesy cars...

I take my 8grand discovery to my own landrover specialist and get given this without even asking.

might not be spectacular but it gets me around while my car is out of use.

If your reading this LAND ROVER AUSTRALIA....TAKE NOTE!!!

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

That wouldn't be the friendly people at Masterservice who lent you that Rangie?
If so you may have seen my silver range rover there getting a new fuel wiring harness after i drowned it. Woops.

I can vouch for there good service, have really helped me out with my car.

Looks like a good old beater they use as a loan car and it doesn't have a rhino hump in the roof Hope it doesn't belong to another customer....They know you will come back next time unlike the dealer once your Landy is out of warranty

When Leyland Truck and Bus at Rocklea was the Brisbane retail outlet for LR & RR we used to get RR owners bring their car in for service and ask for a loan car. All we could offer them was the workshop Austin 1800 ute, complete with greasy seats and steering wheel. RR's were the then status symbol of the medical profession, probably used to visit their tax vineyards and stud farms. Never had one take up the offer of the 1800.

Truckies never asked for a loaner whilst the rig was in for service. A lift to either of the Rocklea pubs was usually appreciated.

If they can't fix it - why not try taking the 56 grand Defender to the Land Rover Specialist?

I know it's under warranty - I know that means coughing up coin - but if they can't fix it - they can't fix it. I had the same problem - it required a LR specialist to tell the dealer what to do.
