I dont think i would bother with dislocation cones when its only dropping out that far, unless theres more travel in the shock to go? otherwise just retain it top and bottom, you will pull the spring out that length no problems, just remember to upgrade the spring retainers though - even if you decide to go dislocation cones.
We have a 504 as well :)... Was my grandfathers since new then my old mans then my sisters and now after doing more then 1 million K's we decided it was time for retirement... in all that driving it took a caravan around Aus 3 times! and only ever needed general servicing :)Quote:

Legenday cars. I've had several 504s, a 205, a 305, a couple of 505s, and in fact built a ground-up 505 V6 project (never sold here but I obtained a V6 block new and employed new and used parts to build a whole engine). A 505 with real torque and power is paradise. :)Quote:

Mmmmm interesting, so your talking 4'' patrol EFS shocks with moded and raised mounts? I've heard good things about EFS might be a good option to put in the front as we have already got our hands on a rear pair of long procomps:cool:Quote:
