Misfire in my Camry.
I've got a 1990 2 litre camry for a work hack and it's developed a misfire. The misfire is a lot worse and more frequent when the engine's cold, is still there even when coasting down a hill under light throttle. It comes in under light load and most times will go away within seconds if I accelerate but sometimes this results in surging / bunnyhopping even in 3rd gear. I initially blamed poor fuel as the gremlin appeared first thing in the morning after I had refuelled the night before (the fuel staion is <1km from home) but I have refuelled twice elsewhere since. I have changed the fuel filter and also the plugs, leads and dizzy cap as they were pretty sad. My next step I'm thinking is to get the injectors cleaned and serviced unless anyone has any other (cheaper) theories before I rip the injectors out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Anthony.
