Have a great drive back to Adelaide. If you're coming thru Geelong drop in for a coffee and a chat.

Sydney - Adelaide via Geelong? Must have an upside-down map reader navigating.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Noice, my ultimate dream car. If you don't mind me asking how many clicks and how much? (PM if you'd prefer)

Well done mate, it looks great.

Well I know everyone will say I paid too much, and I reckon I have paid a couple of grand over the odds, but they were asking $40K for it, so I offered $35K, and after a couple of days of haggling and me not budging they agreed on $35K.

It has 3 months warranty which is excellent (applies down in Adelaide too, which is important to me), and 85,000Kms on the clock. Full LR service history, and every service done spot on time. 80,000Km service done, which is a big one I think.

One owner. More LR accessories than you can poke a stick at (and all genuine LR, even the sheepskins are genuine LR!!).

The "Xtreme" stickers should have been removed today, and I will probably remove the sidesteps and put on something more substantial.

Other than that, I plan to leave it "as is".

Might go back to skinny tyres (7.50R16 Michelin XZLs) on steel rims, but that's about it.

    Cheers
    David

Sounds like a good deal to me. I'd have been happy paying that. She looks great and if you love it then it's worth it to you. Low k's and a deefer, you won !

I supposedly overpaid for my Disco D1 according to the book value when i bought it 19 months ago however the engine had been rebuilt and she was on lpg and Diesel and I love it.

She's not missed a beat and is cheap to run and service myself. I consider it a bargain and am very happy.

    Enjoy !

    Regards

    Martin

Congratulations on the purchase, and welcome to the 90 club!

A very tidy looking unit indeed. Like the colour too!

We eventually plan to move back to Adelaide, so I'll be bringing mine accross in a year or two.
