Sterrewtthh!! That's pretty bad - but I'm really glad both of you are OK. The car ca be replaced.
Thank God for a quick thinking truckie!
It must have cured your constipation, tho! ;):p:p

A couple of years ago I had a blowout on a front LH tyre while travelling at 110. But fortunately it was on flat country south of Griffith, with no traffic - in fact, by the time I had put the spare on and resumed travel nobody had come past.. No dramas, only damage was the tyre. I suspect that your problems largely came from the fact that it was downhill on a bend.

Geez:o. Glad it was only relatively minor injuries.
Glad you are both still with us to buy another LR :BigThumb:
Ruddy heck! Scary!
To look at the pics, one would assume the driver bought it.
I'm glad you came out of it relatively unscathed.
nothing much else comes to my mind except......
**** me your lucky to be here
good to read the insurance has come through, atleast you dont have to worry about that as well.............
now all you need is your 2 front teeth for Christmas :D:p
Only just found this:eek:
You and your sister are so lucky to to have your lives... Some one must be looking after you. That is a wake up call on tyres for sure. I've had a few blow over the years but have been lucky they didn't give out down hill on a neg camber bend. Just shows how tyres really do suspend our life.
Hope you are all OK in time.
