btw mate, who are you insured with? might be good to know a company that can deal effiently and quickly with 4wd vehicle claims
Good to know that you and your sister are OK, thats the important bit.
we had a left rear air down quickly at 110klm . didnt notice much on the strait but then going into a left hand sweeper things got very hairy and wobbly.
the down side of high profile tiers.
Whoah! Glad to see you are both OK. They are scary photos. Apart from checking your tyres which you did I'm not sure if there was anything you could have done. Makes you think, apart from a bubble I'm not sure what I'd be looking for.
Is it too soon to ask the details of the Landy you are going to get?
Good to see your both OK!
Did you stop in wollongong anywhere? I have had 3 tyres stabbed by some little barstools putting nails at an angle so they go into the tyre when you drive off ,the first blew my front tyre on an old statesman(about 9 years ago) going up Mt Ousely( no accident luckily) , the others I found in time and had fixed. The last one we found was only 4 months ago and we keep the 4wd's/cars in a garage so it's not a neighbour we annoyed.
That is some serious damage. Can't believe you got out of it with so little personal injury. Very very lucky.
Do you think airbags would have made a difference? Or would they not have triggered anyway? Wish Defenders had them.
Hope you're back on the road again soon with a new one.
WOW....thats amazing, glad to hear you and your sister are OK
Great to hear you both came out of it reasonably unscathed, shame about the 110, but more important that you both are still with us.
Cheers, Mick.
