If i specify a semi-auto transmission (tiptronic or whatever you call it) does that mean I get a semi-auto rifle, oh wait an AK is already semi-auto :p
But I would much prefer a manual car - does this mean I have to be satisfyed with a repeater/bolt action?
Hate to think what I would get if i specified an auto transmission in my truck
The interview dosnt say anything about patriotism its all about protection, i wonder if he would give me a barret if i got a real big truck, long range protection  its prob worth more than most yank trucks tho :D
It may not be in the article but it sure looks like the ad is running on the patriotic bandwagon to me!

I was just thinking of the movie Lord of War with Nicolas Cage in it... at ehe beginning hes talking about the amount of people WITHOUT guns in the world... selling them to car yards would be a niche market :p
I'd ask for a Spas 12....:D:D strictly for vermin control of course ....:D

He's actually giving away vouchers to a certain value that can be traded for gun of same value, AFTER you have acquired a licence to carry it.
LOL because America is the biggest manufacture of AK47s and has been since about 1958. as for the russian bit well the first Stamped receivers were based on the M1, they were with drawen because they were crap, replaced with a machined receiver until about 1955, when they copied the US manufactured stamped receivers that worked. any way russia hasn't manufactured the AK47 for about 20 years, there main arm is the AK 74 ( NATO chambered) much nicer you can actually hit the barn door with it. I should know i was one of the first to acquire one in 87.
the chinese AK is quite different and is actually much better ( quality control) than the soviet original still rattles though, if its your thing you would be much better off with the Israel SA Grail, same thing different furniture.
last report i saw in 2001 was there were 1200 known assembly or manufacturing points for the AK in the world
