You have to look at the outcome of the deal,if it's least what is it going to cost a week and what is the final payment, remember that defenders hold thier money more than any other vehicle and a 3 year old duel cab would pull a premium,IMHO I think they will be the most sort after model. If the residual is around 50% you could pay that out and sell it privately for a tidy profit. Pat
Pat,
There are plenty of places in Kalgoorlie and even Kambalda that you can get basic Toyota parts, maybe not the Toyota dealership:o. I had to get Toyotas serviced up there and had no issue. Even have afriend with a workshop that I can guarantee stocks most Toyota high volume consumables as it is his bread and butter.I am generally talking about filters, belts, hoses etc (high volume consumables) and every man and his dog stocks those for Toyota and Nissan. You are right the Toyo dealer should have service kits though. After Gold City LR closed (shame because they were great) I could not even get a oil filter for a tdi let alone one for the TD5 or a drive belt. Yes I know there are some Rycos that will fit, but generally no one had them in stock. Esperance is worse again and I even had the local Auto1 guy try and tell me that the Penrite Diesel 5 was the wrong oil for the TD5 and I should be running 10w.
And not for a minute saying a Toyota is a better vehicle, because they are not and are prone to failure.
Dobbo
