Yes, but he must have kept up his super licence to race, which is unlikely. Or Bernie's bending the rules for Ferrari again..

Nah no chance. Currently JB has 70 points. There are 7 more races. So, assuming that Massa doesn't return this season and shuey gets all 7 races, he would have to win every one of them, and Button couldn't score so much as 1 point.

    I don't think that's very likely.

    Hmm

Schuey has been at many of the meets and has kept in contact going by what one can read from the various F1 web-sites.

I am same age as Schuey and although I don't believe 41 is too old, mathematically and realistically, his reactions will have slowed.
thats just an age thing and not an attack or doubt in his ability.
Racing in the early days was totally different and not really comparable to current demands on drivers. These are the words of Jackie stewert and Alan jones, Alain Prost Nicki Lauda just to name a few.

I wish him well and boy is that going to through a cat among the pigeon.
I can't wait to see next race.

    Ok Max,

so presumably your going to tell us why this is unlikely, and then present us with conclusive evidence to back up your statement that "bernie has bent the rules again".

    I'll look forward to it.

i would have thought 7 world titles would be enough to get a lifetime superdupa licence

really hope he does well as certainly will be the most talented on the grid. also cool reading hamilton saying he is looking forward to racing against him as they passed each other at the start and finish of each others f1 careers.

I didn't say it was likely, just possible. I think he will be quick but not dominant like he used to be.

Well, I cannot quite confirm that just being German makes you automatically hating all Brits (or anything British for that matter).

You said it's "possible he can win the championship". Well actually it's not even possible! At best he could tie with Jenson.
