I have done a bit of towing camper trailers on beach's and I would generally recommednd lowering tyre pressures. Of course it all depends on the beach and how soft the sand is. The important thing is you need to make up your mind wether you will or wont before getting into any risky areas. Generally I will drop mine down to 18psi as soon as entering a beach area and have lowered them as low as 10psi. I have generally found the trailer easier to tow when pressures are down and have absolutelly no issues with the traction control.
