    Western Plains Zoo

    righto i'm taking the boys there during the week 28th sep - 2nd Oct.

    Can somebody tell help me with the website of the caravan park thats closest to the the park, google maps shows one but do you reckon i can find there web site.

    Planning on spending two days at the park.

    Any other places to see while i am in the area or tips on what to do? bush camping, national parks, rivers to explore etc

    You can stay IN the zoo (with the animals) but it's quite expen$ive

    Other area to visit are Coolah Tops NP, Warrumbungle NP, Kaputar NP and Glen Davis (near Rylstone)

    Hey Weeds,

    Torrin and I are heading down that way on Qld School Holidays as well. The Zoo is penciled in on the itinerary so give us a shout if you want to catch up

    yes checked the prices for staying in the Zoo, really wanted to do it but one is out of my price range at $600 for the night and the other while expensive is not running thought the queensland school holiday

    I'll wait till you get back mate and you can give an itinerary. We have been thinking of going there as well...will be interested in your thoughts and places to see/ stay,
