Thread: Blardy Hell...almost 5000 posts

G'day Folks,

Just realised I was coming up to 5000 posts and had a bit of a reflection over the last 3 1/2 yrs and almost 5000 posts that have gone up. Geez some of the things I have shared.....like bogging my brand new D3.......sliding down a grassy embankment on my ride on......petrol in my chainsaw and some good belly aches over my "smartness". Oh and lets not forget those shorts .







Then sad things like losing Benz in 07 and Diesel in 08 my 2 Shepherds and sharing tears with others. The sharing of other members losses as well

I have moved house 3 times, sold twice. Given up smoking numerous times....much to the pain of the mods when the niccy withdrawals kick in ........and hopefully have now done it again......

Also in that time I have had some excellent debates and discussions on various topics and locked horns with the best of them. Some of those chats I have walked away learning something....others to just agree to disagree. I have also had some famous....or should I say "infamous" battles with other members....one in particular....my arch nemisis....who I would still be happy to have a beer with one day . There has been one I would have flogged on sight but thankfully they are no longer on here. I have received wonderful PM's and some not much chop from other members ....but that is part an parcel I guess of being a smidgy outspoken at times.

Over the three + yrs....I have been assigned various labels....arrogant...pigheaded.....up myself....judgemental......plus plenty of nice ones as well....I think there were some nice ones . Which just goes to show...and I'm guilty of it as well....that perceptions of a person on here don't necessary add up to the person in real life.

Must most importantly.....I have made some wonderful online and offline friends because of the forum. Funny thing this internet....as much as I can be against the use of technology.......the net has introduced me to my partner...now mother of 2 of my 4 kiddies......a great club in the GCLRO and life long friends and the many good folk on here as well. Folk I have had the pleasure to meet in the "real" world. Naturally we arent all going to get on like a row of houses....but that is normal. I know at times I have trodden of a few toes in the past....have tried to be better this year and will no doubt do so in the future....so I will apologise in advance .

A special thanks to the big fella Dave for his efforts and to his group of mods for the work they put in....in some cases wondering how far I will push the barrier ...and to all of you....thanks for listening and sharing....even the inane ones that still do my head in ,
