    In the days before Toymotor

Over the last few months I've been scanning negatives. It's been good looking through pics that I had long forgotten about.

Anyway I thought I would share this one from the days before toymotor

Taken somewhere around a property called Tasman (SW of Cobar) in 1974 while I was out there fire fighting.

A different mixture, can't make out what is at the head of the queue, J10 jeep maybe ?

No Grockle, it's an International Acco 1800, nominal 8 ton load. Civilianized version of the military Australian Concieved Cab Over, a very popular truck here from the '60s til the late '90s.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

naa, I reckon it's a small Inter or Dodge. The old J2000/3000 series Jeeps filled out the flares pretty well.

As best I can tell, you're right Rick. Impossible to distinguish the two, in that picture, both used the same cab.

I see the FJ40, and I think you are right there is one of those patrols with the double doors instead of a tailgate.

They all look pretty heavily laden. Just preparing to head out I take it.
