I think it is a masterpiece of style and ENG. Such thought went into this and it is targeted at a particular market. Please, please relax and have a cuppa (water if not coffee or tea), This is the best example of the motor industry moving forward!!!
Now we can relax and know without reservation that the person that would purchase that will not be interested in persons like us and furthermore we will not have to (knowingly) interact with them, and, as an asumption, will not have to recover same as they (at best) may only persue the thrill of driving a dirt road being "out there".
I would like to post :wasntme:and clearly have but feel :o is warranted as is :D
Kind regards,

They got the design right first time (with minor changes over 20 odd year) - it's almost timeless. This new Prado while once we're used to it may look ok (I personally don't like it :no2: ), what is it going to look like it 20 years? Oh hang on, it won't be around in that long! :wasntme:
its toyota sense of humour, see what ever they design it will be bought in big numbers. they are about to prove the theory.
:D
mmmmmmmmmm I would have this car as a commuter

Well, it was never going to be received well on a LR website :p
Bet they sell thousands of them regardless of what we lot think.
Well Said Two Up thats explains it just nice matey
I was talking about the current Defender/110/90/130 evolution that's been going for the last 20 odd years...but you're right, going back 60 years the difference between a Series 1 and SVX Defender - it's not really all that massive. Just a slow evolution.
Some nice Land Roverpornpics too.
Given the current Prado is the weapon of choice for the grey nomads (and the LC200 definitely isn't) it will be interesting to see how it goes. I think if the up the price like they did on the 200 series they'll loose even more ground. To other marques.
The one I'm waiting to hear about is a diesel RAV4 in Australia as I've now seen a number of diesel X-Trails being used as tow vehicles.
