I have big problems with the way toyotas and priced and look. These guys dont know style. Three brands which have lead world car styles are LR, BMW and Mercedes. All have influenced direction in the past and LR's side grills in the RR sport have started to get into lots of other cars like the cruise and ranger to name two I saw today.

On capability of the prado, I hired one and was very dissapointed of it getting bogged where other lesser 4x4's had no issue. It was fairly nice to drive and the v6 4.0L has stacks of power even if it was using 50L per 100 for my drive.

Well for those who bagged the 120s capabilities off road, they may not be the best but i managed to tow a friends rangie off the beach from near the shore line over the dunes and off lavis today without any issues, the gearbox gave up in it, no drive at all. I have a few pics i will put up later for a stir

Must be excellent off road That looks as though it was photochopped into that pic. No sign of any tyre tracks to where it's parked.

Maybe 12 years ago I was involved in making a TV ad for the (I think) Prado. (The add where they drove through the city streets full of red sand/soil.)

We supplied the water, to make the river they drove through, even though there was a real river/rock bed not more than 5 metres away, as they didn't want to give the impression it COULD drive through water. All the red soil stuff was filmed in an old gravel quarry near Waterfall.

I have been off roading with a few of the current model prados and in their defence they arent that bad off road. Having said that ones i went off road with had decent suspension and some good tyres added to them.

⬆ It's like a bulldog and a mountain lion asked a Range Rover to join in for a threesome, and this is the love child.

    I like it!

Not as much as i would like a wildcat though..which is like the above, but with Chuck Norris instead of a bulldog!
