Reply With Quotei havent had the front or rear ones on my disco for yonks and never been pulled up for not having them during a pink slip. Not sure about a blue slip, would depend on how picky the inspector was i suppose.

it also very much depends on where you take it for pink slip.......I've never fitted mine back on but i take it to the same place that maintains my car.

If it's only a pink slip you might get it passed OK but after getting my defender 3 blue slips in a row I would not do anything that would cause even the slightest reason for a fail,rego when it goes wrong is like pulling teeth. Pat
