20000 IGNORANTS calling for ban 4WDs

I think we all need to take a deep breath.

As mentioned in more than one post, she is only tabling the petition.

We live in a democracy and MPs are REQUIRED BY LAW to present a correctly formatted petition.

It does not matter what she thinks, as long as it comforms with the law, it is tabled. It is up to the government of the day to respond. As it says on the QLD gov website, the minister has not yet replied.

Sooooooooo, rather than flood the MP with emails (pretty easily deleted) we would be better off constructing our own petition and getting 20,000 signatures supporting our cause. (Not that hard when you think about it!)

Then we could present that to Ms Simpson - or whichever MP is appropriate, and have our cause represented.

It is important to keep your eye on the ball - not the man. (or woman ;) )

lol if petitions by law after being presented have to be tabled...start a partition to stop the prejudice against 4wder's and there choice....it will have to be tabled :lol2:

I'd like to start a petition against Anna Bligh botoxing her forehead. It looks weird :eek: :D :wasntme:

Does that mean they will also ban the Hyundai ILoad, Toyota Hiace people carriers, Chrysler Voyagers, Mitsubishi Nimbus, Kia Carnivals, and all the other people movers, Tradies and the after school care chicks who pick the kids up. These inbred low lifes haven't got a #%%$$# clue. All these vehicles are as big and bigger than a lot of 4wd vehicles and what about the latest batch of soft roaders like the Kluger. I must admit I think Anna (captain) Bligh is a total oxygen thief, but to here credit she got up in the QLD parliament and basically said she had not heard a bigger load of rubbish.

Perhaps they could start by banning beligerent, bellicose, broadbummed busybodies who frequent school environs and care squat for road rules, good manners or anyone elses child...:wasntme: ....ahhh that's better;)
