    No one will insure me!

Bloody hell, I'm trying to get Third Part only insurance on my Series III.
No one will insure me. I'm 22, had my license for 3 years, never had a crash, have a fairly clean driving history and I'll only be using the car occasionaly.
    The car is a 1973 with a 202 motor.

HBF - car is too old. *******. I give them $2500 a year for other stuff, you'd think they'd be flexiable.

Allianz - wont touch it because it doesn't have stock engine.

Super**** Auto - same as above. In fact, loads of generic companies say this.

Shannons - Under 25, and they don't believe I'm a real car enthusiast. What a load of ****.

    Real - Under 25

RAC - Couldn't find any record of any Land Rovers being made in 1973. So god damn rediculous. They couldn't offer me a quote because they had no idea what a Land Rover even was. Dick heads.

Tried multiple others and same old ****.

Anyone I should try? I absolutely hate driving a car that can do so much damage without Third Party...so I don't. I didn't buy a SIII to have it sit in the driveway. Should I just say it has a stock motor in it?

Get the records from Land Rover and present them to RAC with your application.

Second option, approach your bank insurance and ask for cover, if no luck then show the bank your finger and join a Credit Union

Are you in a club, if not you need to join and find out who the club recommends, speak to the Land Rover club of your state.

The problem I am having is getting Third Party. I don't want to insure my car, just want to be covered for who ever I crash into (if ever).

I have always found Suncorp to be very good.
They insured my old (modified) landy when no one else would even look at it.

You could also try an insurance broker.

Just got off the phone with Suncorp. They can't insure it because I'm in WA. FFS this is just rediculous.
The lady on the phone was very sweet though. As I was describing the car she says "man, sounds like a really cool car" hahaha.
