Hey guys,
Since I've got my D1 on the road, I've found I've needed to get some new rubber on the wheels. I've currently got 235/70/16 Pirelli Scorpions on there (from what I've been told they're not to great anyway) and from what I can tell they have been stationary for a while and got either lumpy or the belts have gone a bit crappy in them.
ANYHOWS, I have an option on some new 275/70/16 Bridgestone AT's..
Was wondering whether they'd be ok or would I most likely need to get a wider rim? The rims I have a quite big and the tires dont sit out over them too much but when it comes to 4x4 tyres I'm a little wet behind the ears...
Your thoughts???
Cheers,
-Adam.
Not sure if they're 7 or 8 - this is my dilemma - I couldn't see any markings on these mag wheels that came with the car to identify this, hence asking for a little guidance....
Cheers,

Are they genuine LR alloys?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
We probably need to know your intentions.
- Bitumen?
- Mud up to the doors?
- Sand?
- Trip to central oz?
etc etc etc
Post up a pic - if they are originals someone here will be able to tell you the width.
and how modified your Disco is too.
275/70/16s are quite big & will not fit on a standard D1 without a lot of cutting. I dare say they'd be very tight even with a 2" lift.

No they're not Genuine alloys - but I think Scouse has just answered my question.
Cheers all for your help.
-Adam.
