Who really cares, or should I say whose opinion matters. The only person it has to please is the owner. Personally, if the sides were a bit lower and it was polished to a mirror finish I think it would look mickey mouse.

I think there are a couple of things that make this look wrong and odd....

Firstly the two bars on the tray, secondly the mudflad attached to the tray is to beffy, thirdly the tray sides are too high and fourthly which is the biggest thing for me is the half of a wheel arch that just looks stupid...

So I took the picture in to PS3 and took out what I didn't like and I dont think it looks to bad..even with the sliver tray

    original

    Photoshop'd

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Hi juddy, I hope your not getting rid of your mint dual cab to buy that

Sorry, but it just doesn't look right to me either.

On another note juddy, I hooked a buyer for my county at Castle Hill but I'm still $10k short , might have to sell my cd player

    Dont like the tray.
Why not do something completely original and turn a normal body into a dropside....????

Imagine, you could pull the sides off like a normal tray for wide loads, have easy access to floorlevel from 3 sides, and fold it all back up at the end of the day and it STILL lookjs original!!!

Now theres a Photoshop project for someone!!

    Cheers

For my taste I would use a steel frame tray painted black with oiled jarrah pannels on the base and sides of the tray. A green canvas cover and change the wheels to disco 1 or sunnys painted the same as the tray frame. High maintenance and expensive but I think it would look nicer.

There was a wood pannelled tray at the lr show in syd gee it looked nice. Would have to oil it a lot though.

You need the painted wheels to bring it back into the theme with the body.

Yep ! I'd have a new 110 Dual Cab NOW except that I'm about $55K shy of the asking price !
