Another unexpected inclusion was the state's most popular dog, the Labrador retriever, which was reportedly involved in 20 attacks from July to September.
Well NSW have added the Maltese Terrier on the dangerous dogs list (no surprise as they are vicious) and Labradors too.
Well why dont they just add the lot. All dogs can bite, they are animals for crying out loud.
Soon we wont be allowed to have dogs.

Were all those attacks unprovoked? Said it before - any dog can be dangerous, but most owners haven't got a clue about proper training, dogs' pack menatlity etc. Rather than ban breeds, owners should have to get a license or something.
How many humans have fought other humans in that time period?![]()
Things have changed a bit over the last 10 - 15 years and now Staffies are one of the most widely owned, hence as said more reported attacks along with poor and unconfirmed identification of the actual breed.
All dogs can attack.

Tell you what! My daughter is in hospital at the moment from a bite from a dangerous animal, she was bitten by her pet Guinea Pig (this is serious, no jokes please, I have heard them all now) and the wound has turned septic, she is in hospital on a drip and they had to open the wound and drain it out. ANY animal can bite!!!!![]()
Well no supprises there, a Guinea Pig is a Rodent, any bite from a Rodent will get infected if not treated quickly.
Hope she gets well soon mate.
OK here's the list of attacks and breeds involved, have a look at the English Staffie as apposed to the off shot of the breed!!

G'day Folks
Gee, there are some interesting breeds and types of breedsI didn't know that there were different types of Pit Bull Terrier, or that a Bull Arab was a breed, and that a Heeler was different to an Australian Cattle Dog, and there were different types of Staffordshire Bull Terrier, as from memory Staffordshire was in England
but, then I have only been breeding dogs for 30+ years so I wouldn't know as much as the university grad that compiled that list, my daughter, who works for a shire council in animal control had a good laugh at some of those, and you southern folk are lucky that you are allowed to keep Dingos, as they are still a banned breed in Queensland
they kill to many sheep in suburban backyards and kill babies
,so sayeth the farmers federation, like daylight saving fades the curtains.
I would be rather get a quick nip from a Cattle Dog than from a Bull Terrier or German Shepherd any day
cheers
Hope your little one is on the mend. It is hard having one of your kids in hospital.
And yes, any animal can bite.
Of the dog breeds, it seems as thou I must be an irresponsible human - I have had a number of those breeds in my life at one time or another, and the only bite I have ever had is when I started playing a bit too rough with them.
The way my dogs are brought up & trained, I would trust one of them before I would trust a lot of humans...
