Wink What have you been up to?

Well... some of you sort of know me a bit now so thought I should share some pics of the recent times here
Other than stock work, Feeding,Fencing and water systems a lot of my time after hours is in the work shop repairing our fleet as is full on.
We are in heavy drought now so I need some inspiration to keep the head up although have just been blessed with 22mm of rain over last two days.
That's now just over 10" for the year and 4" of it fell last January

As the title suggest let us know what your up to now (If your work place permits so) So hijack away

OK these are at random and I have put some together.

Drilling again...... Good water is around 120 mtrs and in a volcanic blow hole if your lucky to find one. All sorts of things come up including various minerals.
This bore is now good for 1500 gals per hour. Good stock water. Is a little hard though...

Some of you may remember the 45 series that had the power steer and 2H conversion. Its going strong. Here it is carrying feeders out with 750/16 tractor tyres fitted

    The work shop....

I do most of the repairs here now including mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/small machining/welding etc.

Here is a small alternator that's being ignorant The Rotor asy has an open circuit so not likely a viable repairer.

The ATVs here are very high maintenance as do huge hours and the rough country here is hard on them.
This is a starter that died at 6000 hrs.
New brush set, clean the poles and fit a new seal.

On another ATV... CV boots again. Does a set every few weeks. Have just complained to Honda and they have agreed to send me some updated drive shafts with latter CVs.

    Cheers Tony

Lots of mods to the system at work. November is D-day for the upgrades. Keeping medical system funded with lots of illness in the family.
Also wondering how to loose more water from the block. We are the ones getting all of NSW's rain.

Looking at your efforts is looks like no that much now.

Im busy shoulder widening. We have 16km to do,both sides.Job was to be finished before Xmas including sealing. We were delayed starting by 4 to 6 weeks due to wet weather.Been on the job for 3 weeks, have got almost 5km both sides widened and waterbound(mixed with water and compacted, much like rammed earth). We will widen/waterbind the full 16km then go back to the start and fix the wet spots(3 sofar) trim and seal.
Cant see us being done before Xmas.Sick of changing the cutting edges already, getting 2 1/2 to 3days out of a set!!!!! All the mixing of the gravel is done on the bitumen so they wear quite fast.

Your house is up? I have missed something here

Re the gym, I recon you should stick to the mega burgers from Big M Be much heavier in time.

However you do need to get your back sorted as much as possible.
