We went to Dinner last Friday night, byo Italian joint next door to a bottleo in Bulimba
Out of 8 of us, there was only one not drinking, and she was on the water.
I gave her the usual jokes, don't drink that stuff, it'll kill you...fish **** in that stuff you know etc, etc,
About 10 mins after dinner, she gets violent pains in the stomach, and eventually goes to hospital.
They said it was gall stones - but I reckon it's water - and I'm not taking any chances.

So be safe - here's my public health warning.

When you go out for dinner - drink plonk, booze or whatever, it's much safer

Hundreds of years ago, the only safe drink in many areas was beer (probably ale?) - the rivers and streams were so polluted.

I have a couple of reds every night - unless I'm working evening shift or midnight shift.

Late edit: Umm, I forgot about the couple I have after getting home from an arvo shift.
