If they drop it closer to $40,000 I reckon it would sell well.

    Nope!

A Rangie Classic or a D1 is superior in almost every respect.

For a start you can hear the radio whilst driving, the air con works (and you have somewhere for the passenger's feet), you stay dry in the rain, you can't see the roadway through the gaps in the door seals, etc......

    Ron I would love one.
    My first landy was a 2a88" with a 186.
I reckon a modern one would be just as much fun and a whole lot more comfortable to steer

    You left one out Lou
    • They lack the class to own a Rangie
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

True, I but cannot justify the extra $15k like I mentioned, nor would I spend that. Loyalty has a point before I look elsewhere...Disco's used to be around $40k when 1st released, n no way in haides would I spend their current asking price. Commonsense has to win at some point over stubborness yeah.

Sounds exactly what I did for $15k less with the TJ, plus have the joy of being able to remove the hard-top and enjoy sunshine. Sure the design means less rear storage, but it's a good trade-off imo. I would have bought a 90 at the time, but they weren't selling them here, n at those prices wouldn't have happened on principle tbh.
