The 90 is coming back!

I think you're being a bit harsh toward Ron, he's only voiced his preference to doing it with a bit of comfort (and style:p). Ron is not an extreme off roader, so why have an extreme off road capable vehicle, at the expense of comfort. How many of us on here have taken any vehicle to a location, in the past year, that a RR or Disco was not capable of traversing, barring recreational challenges. DB and MM completed a trip this year and I'll bet London to a brick, everywhere they took the Defender a 100" could have gone. DB/MM have a Defender because that's what they want, Ron has a RR because that's what he wants, no one has to justify their choice except to themselves. Heavens some folk have Toyotas, odd taste, but entirely up to them.
Ron, wouldn't it have been easier if you'd made a small spelling error?:D Err maybe not.:p

You dont have to be an extreme off roader to enjoy a defender, our defender has not done extreme off road its a tourer and a commute car:) and I prefer to drive that to work than my discovery it might only be a mesley 150k a day but its enough to be choosey about a car, in saying thaty if I had a D3 I wouldn't look twice at driving the defender it would be no competition. but as it goes the D1 and classic rangie is no comparison when it comes to speed and in my personal case comfort!

Ron, the Puma even has "climate control" according to the owner's handbook. That makes it almost like a P38:p

I'm with dullbird,I spent a month in the L322 and it was nice but I'm strange so couldn't wait to get my deefer back.I'm still seriously looking at a new one next year as the old girl's getting on and if the 90's are 45K I can't see them selling,I would look at them but a duel cab it better value.I think we should be happy to have the choice but everyday vehicles are getting out of hand price wise,the VX Prado's are $109,000,a hundred grand for a Playdo?????. I couldn't justify keeping the County. I liked it but it was always going to be second to the RR as it was a most impractical vehicle anywhere except off-road. It didn't even have a useful loadspace.

The D1 was sold over a year ago.

Oh dear. And to think I thought LR had finally made a reliable Defender! :D

A 90 would be a good toy - a bit like owning a sports car, not useful but fun.

Well they are small and have no room for anything in the back, so pretty useless for moving stuff . You have to pretty much consider them as a 2 seater car
If you have someone sitting in the back then they are treading on your stuff you have in the back like winter coat or umberlla.

They are also too Short and on ruff terain or ruff roads and some streets buck like a donkey . Even more so on corrigastions. Makes them alot more uncomfortable than the 110



But great fun cars to drive and very posy . Nippy and make the Disco and 110 seem slow old buses. But also show up the other land rover ranges off road as they are pretty much unstopable out of the box

But i have 6 90's so i may be baisis and Yeah i have driven all combinations of the 90 too and would still buy a puma 90
