    The 90 is coming back!

Just got a call from the dealer I brought my 110 off, apparently the 90 is going to be available in Oz from about March next year! (In the hard top variant).

    Hoo-rar I want one!!

    Cheers,

    Tim

At the Melbourne Motor Show back in March 2007 when the Puma Defender made its Aust public debut an infomation board said the D90 would be available "to special order", so it seems it may have been in their plans to get it out here. Let's hope the price is realistic.

I was told it's going to be around $45k plus on road costs.

Great to hear the 90's coming back!!! The price on the other-hand is a bit hard to swallow tbh...I bought my TJ Wrangler new for $30k which is a fairly comparative vehicle n been issue free, but the 90 has more rear space. Bit hard to justify the extra $15k, that'll buy a lot of accessories imo. If they get cheaper in a 3-4 years I'd consider one.

Why would anyone buy a 90? (Yes, I have driven one.)

    • Some people dont like big cars
    • might be the only person that owns it and you never take passengers
    • they are brilliant off road in a lot of situations other cars cant get through
    • they look cool.
    • not everyone has one
    • much easier to get into your garage and still fit stuff around it
    • fit in smaller parking spaces
    • has a better ramp over
    • has a better departure angle
    • less to wash if your anal enough to wash it.

is that enough reasons for you Ron???
