    The Melon and juice you scoop out you keep to cure the hangover you created by adding the vodka juice...real potent if left in the fridge for 12hrs so the vodka's chilled...

    hmm yummm,,fresh fruit off the tree,,,

    In summer, any fruit thats juicy and cold to nibble on at any time,,

    A nice chicken and salad dinner with rock mellon or pineapple on the side,, yummmm

    hey Ean, don't scoop it out, you cut about 50mm of the end off leaving some little "legs" of the skin to give it some room, stick it in the fridge the day before consumption and let gravity work. More than a litre of watery juice will run out of your average watermelon in about a day. Then just turn the sucker over and slowly poor in the liquor of your choice - it will be re-absorbed quite readily. and as long as you eat it up after cutting, it stays in the flesh

    havent had the vodka and melon since leaving my mispent youth tequila is also good my favorite summer food is now the barley sandwich aka BEER!
