Queensland has abundant water reserves. The SE corner is under strain due to the large number of southerners and overseas immigrants coming to live in that part of the state and we locals are expected to pay for the infrastructure to accomodate them,when they have spent most of their working lives contributing to their home state and not a brass razoo into Queensland.

As one of these "southern interlopers", or Australians,
as I like to call them. We are entitled to live anywhere in the country, being free, and we have been contributing to the Qld economy for 18 yrs. But never fear, we are returning to Australia in the not too distant future.
I could start on the old argument about federal tax dollars and their fair distribution, based on population..................but I wont
