    PS my grandfather was a logger.
    As one of these "southern interlopers", or Australians, as I like to call them. We are entitled to live anywhere in the country, being free, and we have been contributing to the Qld economy for 18 yrs. But never fear, we are returning to Australia in the not too distant future.

    I could start on the old argument about federal tax dollars and their fair distribution, based on population..................but I wont

    Thank you for your contribution to Qld ( Australia ) during the time you spent up here.I do hope that you achieved all you set out to do when you moved here. Re GST ..check out how the Rudd Government have made " State GST Entitlements " fairer.One of the reasons why Capt.Bligh is having a hard time making ends meet.
