Don't Lock Your Disco with a Nanocom Plugged in.

    Hi Guys,

In my wisdom I locked the Disco with the Nanocom plugged in, and then I could not unlock it with the remote or the key.

I got it towed to techno British and they said it would not unlock because of the nanocom was plugged in.

Did I miss something when I brought it (should come with a warning).

    ben....

It's all good to go now, they opened the bonnet from under the car (originally they wanted to smash the window.)

Not heard that one before – I’ve often left my Nanocom plugged in while the car is locked overnight (and longer). Maybe I won’t from now on…

I though I done it before aswell.

I'm not going to try it again to prove a point though.

My Nanocom is left plugged in permanant. Sits on the Dash with the GPS - Turn it on after I start the car, and it powers down by itself when I turn off ... like, for the last 6 months!

    NEVER had any unlocking issues.

Turns out the door lock was broken key would not engage the locking mechanism.

When it was locked the bonnet was up. Dad then put the bonnet down and tired to unlock it with the remote.

I have been doing the same thing.

I locked the doors with bonnet up and then dad shut it and tired to unlock it and it would not let him.......

hmm, regularly lock mine with the bonnet up. usually when i am chargin the second battery from solar panel and want to keep the car locked up. i think i usually just shut the bonnet and the alarm automatically goes to full lock mode, it does give me a beep warning to let me know the bonnet is up though, same as if a door is open.

Did you have to use the key to open it?

turns out the lock is broken inside and key will not work .
