Noticed in the spiel that it states with Defender (after Td5, that the bonnet mounted spare wheel was outlawed.

That would most likely explain why a bonnet mount was not available for this model, disregarding the strength of the bonnet et al.

A bonnet mount on top of the hump that's already there...you wouldn't be able to see out the windscreen AT ALL

Td5 not Pooooooooma. I should have written that in more plain language shouldn't I

From Td5 on.........no mount, as it was outlawed. Is that better. If you read the spiel, it is explained.

Few gaps there. But to be expected as its all about a Land Rover.

With the Puma hump on the bonnet you'd just fit an emergency spare so it wouldn't be too tall. Maybe a bicycle heel with a Defender hub

May there's a good reason for it to be outlawed.
