Surely if it has no engine, he shouldn't have put 3.9 litre as the engine size in the specifications.
Shouldn't it have been zero litres? :p

and with no gearbox its a non wheel drive--:D
I'd be willing to tow it away if he wants to pay me them sort of figures :D:D:p:angel:
Resistance was useless, so I sent a message asking if his price was a typo. ;) I got 2 replies in quick succession for the 1 message, and here they are (mobile number edited btw):
"Hi
No typo, feel free to make me an offer, it is for
wreaking, $7000 was just in case someone wanted
the whole lot. It is obviously not worth $7K but
as spares it is, it has the 7 seat + scuba gas set
underneath which is hard to get, sunroof, bull bar
and Hayman-reace tow bar, also alloy wheels with
good BF Goodrich AT's. Feel free to ring me on
04XXXXXXXX if you are interested in the lot."
"Have just updated the starting price to $4900
call to discuss if you wish 04XXXXXXXX"
Am I tripping, or is even the starting price asking WAY too much for what is effectively a rolling shell??? Many of the extras fitted aren't "all that n a bag of potato chips" for most people, and given how much a reconditioned engine is alone, $700 for the lot would be pushing the limits of what I'd be prepared to pay. You can get a complete and running rig fitted with more useful and better things for less. $7k in parts is perhaps what it owes him, but nobody in their right mind would spend that or the revised price just for them. I scored a brand new n unwanted Hayman-Reece towbar and a steering box guard for my Jeep at $120.
Just like motorbikes, just coz you've spent $1500 on an exhaust, it doesn't mean the bike's worth $1500 more...if that's the case strip it off and sell it on ebay. :p
and the tcase is broken
and the gas tanks are almost out of date
